Our corporate courses will cover in detail the work of Dr Jon Kabat Zinn (A Professor of Medicine & Molecular Biologist at the University of Massachusetts famous for his world-renowned MBSR Clinics). The focus will be on mindfulness and its underpinning psychology & its role in Holistic health care. Participants will be invited to experience the effect of breathing in awareness on one’s sense of well-being.  Therapeutic use of Mindfulness techniques such as turning towards the symptoms, pain, anger, fear, anxiety, depression, and discomfort, instead of fighting the pain and wishing it goes away experiencing the pain as it is without adding or trying to subtract the pain. Self-compassion and compassion-based care will be explored through discussion amongst participants by sharing their experiences. Participants will gain the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitude to manage their own stress which will support them further to add productivity at the workplace. Mindfulness-based stress reduction and Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy clinics have seen huge success in different countries. Reports from scientists from Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard Medical School found that participants who attended an eight-week mindfulness-based stress reduction program showed measurable changes in grey matter concentration in the hippocampus, which is part of the brain associated with the regulation of emotion, arousal, and responsiveness.
