United Nations recognised Yoga’s universal appeal and on 11 December 2014. The United Nations proclaimed 21st June as the International Day of Yoga by resolution 69/131. This day is celebrated all across the globe to raise awareness about Yoga & its holistic approach to health.

Aparna is on a mission to bring the ancient wisdom of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra & practices to all who want to learn yoga and to Yoga teacher trainees.
Aparna has completed Yoga teacher training with Durga Ireland and Ram Krishna Mission. She has also completed MBSR (Mindfulness based stress reduction) Teacher training programme. Aparna’s qualification as a Nurse & a Midwife and Masters’s degree in Nursing with experience of serving in various colleges, hospitals & corporates, support her in understanding Mind, body, illnesses, and suffering.
She was born in India and moved to work in Ireland in 2002, which puts her in a unique position to understand the mindsets of the Eastern and Western populace and combine scientific knowledge with ancient wisdom to teach how to be more present in your life.
Durga Yoga
Paula Mitten is an internationally recognised yoga teacher and yoga teacher training facilitator. She’s the owner of Durga Yoga Ireland and the creator of Yoga Teachers Masterclass. She’s been teaching yoga for 18 years and facilitating teacher training since 2011.
Yogra Yoga
Christine is a dedicated yoga teacher and studio owner based in Maynooth, Co. Kildare. With a passion for making yoga more accessible and inclusive in her community, she has worked tirelessly to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all ages and abilities. As a trained yoga therapist with Yoga Therapy Ireland, Christine brings a holistic approach to her teaching. Her yoga classes incorporate mindfulness, meditation, movement, and even laughter to help students improve their physical and mental health.
